Andy Cox

Andy Cox built his career by challenging the status quo and often learning the hard way. Since his beginnings working nights in a factory in East Texas, he knew the only way to success by any definition was through hard work.

After years of supporting successful companies and their sales teams, Andy made the leap into sales himself by taking a role to support a consulting division for a global firm. Ultimately, Andy and the team took the Austin division to a record-high billed hours. But for him and so many of those he managed, climbing the corporate ladder was grueling, each step of the way, working nights, weekends, and holidays — all for someone else’s bottom line.

In 2017, Andy realized “you cannot serve two masters” and set out to build a better world for his peers, both consultants and clients in finance and accounting, without the influence of outside investors. Andy founded Cox Consulting Network as a company created for consultants by consultants. This mission meant a radical departure from the traditional agency approach. Then and now, he genuinely believes that by focusing on consultants, the clients win.
