Jessica’s Journey: A Career Full of Surprises and Success

Jessica’s career path has been anything but conventional. Originally planning to pursue law school, and even considering a career in pediatric medicine (until she realized she wasn’t fond of blood!), Jessica ultimately found her calling in accounting. With a Master’s in Accounting and an emphasis in Information Systems, she’s built a career that blends technical know-how with operational insight.

Over the past 22 years, Jessica has dabbled in everything from retail and fitness to tax resolution and consulting. Her ability to adapt and learn has been key to her success—whether it’s managing operations, designing new systems, or leading financial audits. Today, she’s helping her clients streamline their processes and manage their financial data with ease.

A Consultant Who Finds Balance and Flexibility

When Jessica joined CCN nearly three years ago, she was drawn by the flexibility and freedom the firm offers. “I wanted the freedom to choose the projects I’m passionate about, while still delivering high-quality work for my clients,” she shares. This balance has allowed Jessica to do what she loves, stay motivated, and ultimately achieve professional success.

Through CCN’s community-driven model, Jessica enjoys the independence to manage her workload and focus on projects that align with her strengths—without the typical constraints of traditional work environments. “It’s about having the flexibility to control my schedule, while doing the work that excites me,” she adds.

“I get involved in all kinds of departments because I’m always thinking about how processes flow across the organization. It’s not just about accounting,” Jessica says. “It’s about making sure everything is working as efficiently as possible.”

Her ability to understand both the big picture and the small details has made her an essential resource for her clients, helping them navigate complex systems and deliver better results across the board.

These passions allow her to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance that aligns with her goals.

“I get to work on the projects that excite me, but also have time to do what I love outside of work. That’s what makes this role so fulfilling,” she says.
