2025 Consultants Club: Meet Tracy McGehee!

At CCN, we are all about celebrating the remarkable achievements of our consultants. One of our shining stars, Tracy McGehee, has recently earned her place in the prestigious 2025 Consultants Club after surpassing 5,000 hours of service with us. Tracy is a CPA with over 10 years professional experience in the accounting industry.  Her journey is a story of growth, resilience, and an unyielding commitment to delivering excellence. We’re excited to share how she’s made her mark on our community and why she’s a perfect fit for CCN.

From Architect Dreams to Accounting Success

Tracy’s career path took a creative detour—she dreamed of becoming an architect, admiring buildings and city planning. “I thought I’d shape communities,” Tracy reflects. But in high school, she discovered accounting, and the balance and structure felt like a perfect fit. “I found it calming,” she says, and her passion for the field only grew from there.

After graduating from Texas Christian University with a business degree major, Tracy launched her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, L.L.P before moving into oil and gas and real estate industries. After taking time to raise her children, Tracy returned to work, diving into consulting with CCN, where the flexibility and variety of projects allowed her to truly thrive.

Why CCN? It’s All About the Community and Flexibility  

When Tracy joined CCN, she was looking for something more—something that would allow her to grow without sacrificing work-life balance. “I love that CCN collaborates with you on your goals.”Tracy shares. ”They’re always asking, ‘What’s the next step for you? How can we make sure you’re learning and growing?’” This hands-on approach empowered Tracy to expand her skills, mastering tools like NetSuite while diving into the fast-moving SaaS sector.

But it’s the sense of community at CCN that truly sets it apart. “I’ve worked alongside so many talented consultants, and it’s exciting to learn from them,” Tracy says. At CCN, Tracy isn’t just solving problems—she’s part of a team that fosters mutual support and growth.

Tracy’s Impact: Problem Solving with Heart  

Tracy is the ultimate problem-solver, and that’s exactly what makes her a standout consultant. From her early days in auditing to her recent work in SaaS, she’s always looking for ways to make things better. “I feel like I’m a detective,” she laughs. “I get to dig into financials, find what’s not working, and help companies make sense of it.”

Tracy’s expertise goes beyond numbers—she’s passionate about team collaboration. “I love training new people, helping them work together to solve problems,” she says. “When a team collaborates well, that’s when the magic happens.”

Beyond Work: A Life Full of Giving Back

Tracy’s passions extend beyond consulting. She’s dedicated to her family and friends and proud to call Fort Worth home.  She has loved volunteering over the years in the community alongside her children and seeing all the amazing organizations that make Fort Worth so special.

When not consulting or volunteering, Tracy stays active with Mahjong, pickleball, and travel. “I love staying busy and active,” she says with a smile. Tracy and her husband recently took a three-week European adventure with their children, making unforgettable memories together.
