Michele’s journey to consulting may not have followed a traditional path, but it’s been nothing short of fulfilling. Her passion for accounting started early, but it wasn’t until high school that she discovered her true calling. After excelling in an introductory accounting class, Michele knew she had found her career path. “From that point on, it was clear—accounting was it for me,” she says.

Her career took her through prestigious MBA programs, certifications, and notable roles at Liberty Mutual and a behavioral health company. But it wasn’t until she moved to Texas and joined the world of consulting that Michele truly found her sweet spot. “I’ve done it all—bookkeeping, financial statements, forensic accounting—and I love that I get to bring that experience to clients across multiple industries,” she shares. Her diverse expertise allows her to tackle complex challenges with precision, delivering the best results every time.

Work-Life Balance: The CCN Advantage

What truly sets Michele’s experience apart is her ability to balance her professional success with her personal life, and that’s where CCN shines. “At CCN, I’m not pressured to work overtime or sacrifice my personal time for a client. I’m empowered to manage my schedule in a way that works for me,” Michele explains. “Early in my career, I was working 70-hour weeks. I don’t think I could physically do that anymore,” she admits. “But with CCN, I’m in control of my time. I’m able to focus on what matters most—whether that’s a project for a client, a trip with my family, or simply taking some time to recharge.”

Living Life to the Fullest

When she’s not delivering top-notch consulting services, Michele is off exploring the world. Together with her husband Eric, Michele has ticked several destinations off their bucket list and is always planning their next adventure. “We’ve been to Scotland, and next on the list might be Austria, Germany, or Aruba,” she says with excitement. For Michele, travel isn’t just about vacations—it’s about enriching her life and reconnecting with the world around her.

But it’s not just about jet-setting. Michele and Eric are also passionate hockey fans. “We love our hockey,” Michele shares. “We have season tickets to the Texas Stars in Cedar Park. It’s something we enjoy together.” No matter where life takes them, Michele and Eric make sure they take time for what brings them joy.

Michele’s commitment to her community is just as strong. Together with Eric, she volunteers with the local fire department’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), providing critical assistance in emergencies. “It’s a way for us to give back and make a real difference in times of need,” Michele says.

The Art of Balance—Both in Work and Hobbies

Michele’s creativity extends far beyond the office. Outside of consulting, she’s an avid crafter, skilled in knitting, crocheting, oil painting, and even creating Renaissance-inspired outfits. “I’ve made wedding gowns, reception dresses, and much more,” Michele says. “It’s a way for me to express my creativity and unwind after a busy week.”

Her knack for precision and attention to detail in her hobbies mirrors how she approaches her work as a consultant. “It feeds into my OCD, and I love it. It’s a perfect match,” she laughs.
