Beer Beats Cancer 2023 Raises Over $30k!

On Saturday, October 12, CCN teamed up with a number of great sponsors to host an incredibly successful Beer Beats Cancer 2023! Many of us are accountants of course, so heres BBC 2023 by the numbers…

Thanks to our incredible sponsors, every dime raised from ticket sales and auctions went directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. They covered every bit of the operational costs for the event, and that’s a big deal.

Four local breweries came together to stock the patio bar with craft brews. Kudos to Twisted X Brewing Co., Family Business Beer Co., Front Yard Brewing, and Infamous Brewing Co. And thank you as always to Hops & Thyme for providing such a great venue to come together.

Funding the Fight Against Cancer

After raising $10k at our last event, we set our sights high with a goal of $30k for 2023.

And thanks to the incredible participation from friends, family, and community members, we met that goal, raising just over $30k!

These funds support national cancer research and support services for families battling blood cancer here in the Austin area.

Maintaining Momentum

The fights not done yet, and neither are we. Our CCN team will be at Austin’s Light the Night event at the Long Center on November 2.

We continue to set aside 50 cents for every billable hour, and we are challenging all our clients and colleagues to match that or to make a donation of their own.
