CCN Team Raises $40k for Light the Night 2022!

Last Saturday, November 5, the CCN community joined together with the city of Austin for Light the Night 2022!

The annual event features a lantern-lit walk around Mueller Lake Park, and all proceeds directly benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), a non-profit supporting cancer research and families affected by cancer.

“We couldn’t have had a more perfect weekend to do it. The weather was fantastic, and we had an excellent turnout,” shared CCN founder Andy Cox. “I just love going around the lake with the lanterns reflecting on the water. You can’t ask for a more moving, inspirational experience.”

The event also concluded with fireworks over the lake.

CCN Meets Light the Night 2022 Fundraising Goal

Each year from March through the Light the Night event date, CCN sets aside 50 cents for every billable consulting hour. Together with generous donations from CCN clients, consultants, and community members, the fundraising total ticked closer and closer to the $40k goal…

We’re proud to announce that as final donations came in this week, we officially met our target!

We can’t say thank you enough to every individual, group, and organization who worked together to meet this impressive goal. We couldn’t have done it without you!

“Everybody showed up and did so much. I couldn’t believe it,” said Andy. “CCN had a great showing, and there was so much community with sponsors from Sailpoint to Stonelake Capital Partners. It was a great group and raised a lot of money.”

We’ve already got our sights set for 2023, and plans are coming together to host a SPRING Beer Beats Cancer event to kickstart Light the Night. There’s no better way to spend an evening with local brews and good times — all in support of a great cause!
