Get ready to Light the Night with CCN!

Since its inception, CCN leadership has maintained that a business isn’t just about making money; it’s about making an impact. This happens at CCN primarily through the nonprofit Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and its annual Light the Night fundraiser.

Each year, from March through the Light the Night event in the fall, CCN donates 50 cents for every hour billed. Together with matching donations from consultants, colleagues, clients, and friends, this can really add up.

Last year, the CCN team raised over $40,000 to Light the Night, and we’ve raised over $100,000 to date! How much can we raise together in 2023?

Leading the charge

CCN Founder Andy Cox began serving with Austin’s Light the Night leadership in 2013 – now ten years ago! According to Andy, “It’s just so easy to get sucked in when you get to work with an organization of this caliber and realize how many of our friends, family, and coworkers are affected by blood cancer.”

This year, CCN Managing Director Chris Mitchell is also joining the executive leadership team. Chris brings a wealth of past experience from other nonprofits like the Michael Dell Foundation, and he’s looking forward to putting those skills to work at LLS.

“It’s such a fantastic organization, and it’s so well run. It’s great to have the opportunity to serve.” shares Chris. “From what I’ve learned about LLS, they really do focus on impact: the whole cycle of serving cancer victims. We all want our dollars to go to that impact. What a great validation.”

Join the effort!

There are a few ways you can join CCN in the fight against cancer through LLS. It’s easy to get started:

  1. Join the CCN team and walk with us at Light the Night on November 2
  2. Donate to the CCN team
  3. Pledge a matching gift for billable hours at your company
  4. Attend Beer Beets Cancer in the fall (more info coming soon)
  5. Help spread the word!

Feel free to contact us if you’d like to get involved on a corporate or personal level. We’d love to partner with you.
